Overview

The proposed research priorities were identified using a structured, multi-round modified Delphi consensus process. This approach was designed to systematically gather input from a diverse group of stakeholders and to establish agreement on topics most in need of future evidence synthesis and research.

A summary of the methodology is provided below, and the full methodology document is available for download.

Methodology Summary

A multidisciplinary panel of stakeholders was recruited to participate in a modified Delphi process designed to identify and prioritize research topics for future evidence synthesis. Panelists represented a range of professional backgrounds and practice settings.

The process consisted of multiple survey rounds in which participants rated proposed topics and reviewed anonymized group feedback between rounds. Predefined consensus thresholds were applied to determine which topics advanced and which reached final consensus.

This structured approach was selected to promote transparency, reduce individual bias, and support reproducible decision-making in the development of research priorities.
